I apparently tried to "vote" in the Flagpole Year-End "Music Survey" too "late," and so my opinion doesn't matter, my vote will not be counted. But you can make it count by reading it and thinking I'm funny.

Actually, that won't make it count.

And it's okay if you don't think I'm funny. I think I try too hard, like that asshole in Swingers with all the goddamn voice messages.

But I made my own self giggle, so... there!

What one local album released in 2005 tops your list? Why?

Bo's music makes me feel like I'm not the only one in the room who's effing out of their mind.

And that makes me feel good.

Tell us about the best show (or shows) you've seen this year.

I had a totally bodacious time at the Timber show at Transmet a week and a half ago, because I danced and danced and danced, and they were totally cool with that, even though I don't think they really play "dance music." Technically.

Tell us about the worst show (or shows) you've seen this year.

That's just mean.

What would you like to see happen in local music in 2006?

I'd like it if there were more cool places to chill and hear music that were in the out of doors. I go to Athens to see the stars, and I can't see them from the insides of bars.
