Holy crap, yesterday's holiday is so weird.

I was reading Greek mythology online today due to the fact that a few days ago my long-time subscription to the Jeopardy! e-newsletter finally paid off, with an invitation to come audition at 9a on Monday, Feb. 14. I get to take a 45-minute written test and then if I pass it: play pseudoJeopardy! They put the tapes in their files to pick contestants out of over the course of the season. First things on my mind: 1) read the almanac between now and then (on the plane to Chicago tomorrow!), and 2) what should I wear to make them realize that I will be a fabulous addition to their show and they should let me win thousands of dollars?

Possible dream Jeopardy categories:

  • Greek Mythology (fingers crossed that they ask about Penthesilea, I <3 her)
  • Internet Superstars
  • Fun with Mathematics!
  • The Life and Writings of J.K. Rowling
  • English Grammar
  • =w= Songs
  • ANSI C

    Nick's dream categories are much more entertaining, though. And also Doug Coupland's.
