...and meeting again,
after moments, or
lifetimes,
is certain
for those who are friends. |
2002.10.28. these are old and some are broken. will fix soon,
or completely update.

In the spirit of the majority of this page--that is, that it's
usually more written for me and in homage to me and my probably
over-sized ego--these links are not necessarily things that I
think, "oh, if you like my page, I'm sure you shall also be highly
entertained by these bits of digitalia! I place them here to
entertain you!" More likely, they are a record of the places that
I, personally, compulsively read.
Listed in an order vaguely resembling reading-priority, i.e. the
top pages I check for updates about twice a day, the bottom ones
I drop by once in a blue moon, but am always glad I did!:
people who I only know through their words:
- joanna perhaps
I shouldn't link to jo, because then you guys will
realize how much of my web-style I've stolen from her. I
really dislike going a single day without reading things
she's written, and luckily, I don't have to do that very
often, because she lives on the web, too.
- siobhan
not only does she have that cool as a mofo name, she's bisexual,
and lives in NYC, and shops there for cool
fabric, 'cause she also sews! She reads even more than I do.
- aggie got my attention though
a one line description of her site from geekgrrl.com (which is now defunct, apparently)
one late night of surfing at a friend's house before I even had
an internet connection. It merely stated that she liked Tori and
playing for Sondheim musicals, but with a subtle articulate manner
about her, which was only confirmed by hours of reading the politics
of love and music. And I've been reading ever since.
- stee
he's pamie's friend! he's gotta be cool. (Oh, but he
is!)
- sars
writes for MBTV,
a place I used to live. And of course I love
this
because not only is she talking about books, but she makes a
reference to walking about, muttering "Carthage must be destroyed."
- puce
- random($foo)
if ever I have a really cool and out of nowhere link to something
that was incredibly interesting and weird, it was most likely
stolen from leonard
- like water over rocks
- jason kottke
- sara
this
is my favorite piece of writing in the entirety of this vast network of
information at my fingertips... it has broken my heart over and over.
- love letters to the internet.
- ben
- stranger.than.fiction
- lizzka
- the mighty kymm
those I am lucky enough to have in my life:
- nicholas the love of my life. currently
homeless on the web; that link won't take you nowhere.
- pallavi I almost
didn't put her new address up here, because her page is prettier than
mine. things like this make me jealous. my mommy while I'm at
school, the girl who helps keep me sane, and depends on me
for her sanity. definitely the most enjoyable person to
procrastinate on webass with in the entire world.
- sam
one of the good ones. plays ultimate, likes the powerpuff girls,
listens to Hendrix, and just generally rocks.
- george
rescued me with a calculator in the middle of the night! and has
done many things that are awesome. a great guy, who gives the
cheeriest hugs out of anyone I know. don't ask me to explain it,
they just are!
- ean
read about ean's obsession with dave, and john cusack, and...
- anne, his girl,
a badass chick who has been present this summer for some lovely
adventures.
- jen one of my badass
roommates, here in the house of sin and debauchery.
- lz
haven't seen much of darlin' linz since high school, but she's got
great pics of a lot of my high school friends, and I anticipate her
doing great things on the web.
