A happy 24th goes out to Mr. Nick Black, whose party was a fine time, for its short life; I definitely got scizzizrewed pretty quickly, despite the sad lack of nitrous for me. I have become so accustomed to orchestrating utterly ideal circumstances, that I wasn't totally hype with leaning on random people on the sofa. But there were many good people to be seen, and I did get to do my fireball trick, so I give it two thumbs up.

Also, thumbs up to two nights in a row of going out and getting woozy and dancing to good music. It does good things to my enjoyment of myself.

And so then I spent the next almost hour organizing addresses and date book crap into ICAL, and the apple "Address Book." Ahhhh, delicious beautiful laptop, you are nice to fall asleep with. I am a huge fan of your complete silence, your smooth clicky keyboard, the very sleek loveliness of my terminal here.

One crazy thing about parties is though they get me really tired, esp. if I'm out late like crazy, they also really wind me up so that I have to have at least an hour or so of cozy alone time, either with a book or with my email or SOMETHING.

Unless I get so that I just pass out as soon as I see my bed. But I think the long relaxing cool-down before sleep is much more soothing.

Better give into sleep now before the sun tries to come up or whatever the junk it does.

Took pictures of the house today! It's not completely finished, but it is definitely close. The main things left are the major components of my bedroom that are obviously missing: bureau, curtains, pictures on the walls, maybe a rug.

Apologies for the blurry pictures, I have shaky hands.
