WHEW, this past week has been so much in so many ways.
The make some small attempt to capture the magnificence and meaning and love and fun and laughter and solace and beauty, I made a resolution to post one picture a day here and write for at least five minutes about it.
I suspect that will likely become 15 or even 30 minutes most days, because of the time blindness and hyperfocus that I have realized are a big part of the way my brain works over the past few years. That's okay. Maybe that's good!
Here we were only about an hour before we left our house on a huge adventure to San Francisco and Mill Valley for five days. Nora and Bea love Twister. I don't recall ever having had Squirrel in the house while we played. She came in like, "What's going on, this looks fun, I want to play too!" and thusly knocked both kids over. CC (my mama) was trying to take pictures of course. We talked her into coming up the night before so we could all be excited about our trip together and drive to the airport together. Bea's wearing her PJs, which she wore all the way to California and to our rental house that night.
I have now written already for over 15 minutes just for this little snippet. I am beyond exhausted and giving little in the way of literary prowess here. Goodnight, dear ones, goodnight.
